A Tale of 2 Cats

Posted by mtmom on September 13, 2008

We’re having lots of health issues in my extended family, some serious, some not so.  So I hope you won’t mind if I prattle about inconsequentials for a bit. . . .

You’ve all met Chloe, our cat.

A few months back, we looked into the backyard and jumped — the cat was out and under the birdfeeder!  But no, here she is, right here.  Hmmm. . . .

Turns out, our neighbors now have a (wandering) cat that looks SO MUCH like ours!  Here is the outside cat (left).  And here is Chloe (right).

How about some frontal shots?  Left (outside), and right (Chloe).

What do you think of that?!

Wow. They are so much alike I can see where you thought she got out.

They do look VERY much alike – even up close. Do you think they are somehow related?

They do look alike! I would have gone nuts if I thought it may cat too. Seeing your Chloe reminds me of Millee. She was a calico and moved from Kansas City to Des Moines, then here to Dallas forever ago. Millee was the first female I had and passed away in 1990 at age 16. Amazingly it took me another 16 years to have another female amongst the boys. 🙂 I hope the wandering kitty is careful as she roams outside.
