    Hi Mt. mom

Was just wondering if you would be willing to share your kilt socks with me, I’ve been looking for nice patterned ones to knit for my sons wedding next year. He is wearing traditional dress the kilt and have already got the diamond and cable one as I used to knit them for my ex-husbands pipe band. I’ve had the pattern since the 80’s so its pretty old but still love the design. But I’m always looking for something new love the way the white ones increase in the back… the ones I do are only ribbed tops.. I can send a picture.. recently done a pair in black and holy moly it was hard work knitting in black.. but they turned out really cool, except for the sore eyes..lol. Also seen that you are able to repair these socks I may have several yrs experience in knitting but I didn’t think they could be repaired…. I would appreciate any help you can give me on this as I have never seen it done before… I know I’m asking a lot and hope you dont mind me contacting you I understand if you don’t want to share you patterns but I can only ask.

l hope you will get back to me
