Sizes (finished hat circumference):  S (16″), M (17″), L (18″), from ages 5 to 12; with notes on extending to smaller and larger sizes.

Yarn Requirement: 30 – 50 grams / 70 – 100 yds worsted-weight yarn, shown here in Red Heart “Kids” yarn, “Crayon” and “Mexicana” colorways, and a green-variegated Caron Perfect Match paired with “Forest Heather” Wool-Ease; but this pattern is adaptable to *any* yarn, fingering to bulky, as it’s sized by inches rather than stitch-counts.
